Rally Chat Musical Meets 2015

Any more info on the Perth festival, thanks
Don't know the line up for next year yet but the atmosphere and bands are usually very good. Saw Billy Ocean twice there and twice he's stole the show. I have been each year and really enjoy it. This was last year's line up

We saw the Ivy League at one of the Lincoln shows a few years ago. Not bad but none of the members originals.

Anyone know how many of the other bands contain original members?

Err.....Leapy Lee.:D:whistle:

This has moved to the Wiltshire area in the last couple of years (World Of Music and Dance). Accommodates camping ,etc but not sure of facilities, etc. There is an enormous amount of eclectic performances which was the brainchild of Peter Gabriel.

Bamfest near Leeming, North Yorkshire is good fun. We stayed on the main campsite (big sheep-little cow) last year, real handy for the shows, no hook up, but no chance of getting places together for MHs. Other campsite is Dobsons field campsite, where I suspect the organisers could / would put people together.

I would have liked to go to this but it clashes with 60s Soul Survivors. :xsad:

Camped at "Americana" last year, Thursday through to Tuesday, will be taking the Motorhome this year :)

Came across this venue today.

We go to Butlins Music Weekends (next one end of Jan, Rock and Blues at Skegvegas) which are great, but obviously you have to stay in a chalet there. This venue, which is near Great Yarmouth seems to be along the same lines, but they allow you to take and stay in the Motorhome. We're looking at the 70's weekender early Oct, when the mighty SLADE are headlining. Apart from being able to take the MH it looks a lot like Butlins, waterpark etc.

Seems like its all booked up or else I am doing something wrong on the booking system :(
