Hi, what do you use to play music in the habitation section of van. I dont want to use connected spy machine (Apple echo etc) though I have an IPad which I can use but I was thinking of a purposed piece of kit with decent speakers, any ideas ?

Hmm that’s what I was worried about, having to buy two of these things. I think I’ll get a quote from the garage to replace the door speakers. Thanks Kevenh
You will probably get a pair of better speakers fitted by a car audio centre cheaper that getting one replaced by a garage.

Yes very true. I‘ll need to find one close to me. Cheers

Just bought myself a dinky stereo Bluetooth speaker from Bose. The sound quality is excellent. It’s a Soundlink Mini 2.
On Friday last I booked the van in to have both speakers replaced, however I may now cancel that as this little speaker is probably all I need.

Yeah, I expect to use the same approach in the Sprinter. I know the sound of the MBUX system is terrible. I see what the quotes are to improve it, but if that turns out to be too expensive I'll go the Bluetooth route as well. Considering JBL.

Glad you're sorted ;)
Until I got mono speakers I was snobby about mono/small field stereo.

We will get better sound stage from two linked Bluetooth speakers - I use my Sonos Play 1 as linked pairs for BBQ, etc. but usually they're solo in rooms

Hymer normally upgrade the speakers so you will probably be OK.
