Looks an interesting explore tomorrow, V2 rockets launch site sadly built by Germans using slave labour from a work camp.

Homemade curry and Game of Thrones tonight, if we can hear it over Millie whinnying at all the local cats!

I can't see any elephants, let alone a couple. :(

A new addition this trip is this little Honda scooter, with a specialist dog carrier for Millie.

She can pull her head in and out but prefers to see what’s going on...until I get on, then her head is almost up my arse!

Of course our kids find it hilarious... and the fact we look like we are delivering pizza...

After a very peaceful night we packed up and ambled on for a few hours, finally stopping in Namur..

What a delightful place, the citadel perched on the hill, 2 rivers converging and such pretty streets.

Great pictures.

......
I wouldn’t bother with Rome.

Everything is really old and dated.

Have a great trip(y)

Loving the scooter and Millie box!!!
Safe travels and enjoy!!

Love the scooter box, do you know if they do one for my two :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Another great thread to follow, thanks for sharing.
Can you give me the name of the doggie box please ?
Roughly what weight dog would it take ?

Hi it’s Pet on wheels. Made in Italy bought on amazon. Literature says up to 10kg. Ours is 8 kg but I think it’s more to do with sitting height. Don’t think a dog bigger than Millie would fit in, but she’s quite leggy!

I’ll measure her shoulder height tomorrow if you want.

It’s expensive too...

This was our cheaper option.. but vetoed by the kids..

Don’t ask why we are in the hall!

I love that carrier. I’d like one for my panier rack on my bike.
( push bike that is )
Please measure her shoulder height and I’ll see if our Buster measures up.

Brilliant photos. Namur looks worth a visit - I’ve written it in my little book.

Millie looks - resigned. Bearing in mind she could have stayed at home with Beth - long walks on the beach - comfy sofa to sprawl out on - and now she’s trussed up in a pizza box - you should be thankful that she’s as forgiving as she is!

Keep on having fun xx

Don’t think she’s impressed at having her measurements made public...

The look on her little face as you give her vital statistics away:eek:.

She is definitely one pissed-off dog:LOL:

She IS gorgeous.
Her face is a picture

She had that very same face, when we was at Jim's and he was training her.
;) I think she might have cracked a smile at our Izzy. Bob.

Is Millie a Cockerpoo?

She’s a cavapoo from Raffles breeders in Nantwich Cheshire...very laid back temperament, not as energetic as cockerpoos, suits me perfectly!

Jim gave her advanced skills...unfortunately she only preforms them for him :D

You have to watch @Jim with little dogs, ;) Janie was talking to someone at a show, and our dog was on a slack lead, Jim un clipped her and took her, she was horrified when she noticed Izzy was gone.  Bob.

we’ve never considered either Belgium or Luxembourg for a Moho holiday (Bruges doesn’t count) but we have been very pleasantly surprised by both.

Of course you need good dental work for the roads in Belgium but it’s not dissimilar to driving at home now.

Our daughter told us that when researching a place to use instagram. She reckons she always finds great places to visit, eat at etc. From all the lovely pictures and hashtags.
Taking her advice Martin instagrammed Namur.

“Worth a look” was his reply. “Screenshot anything interesting” I nagged gently. “You’ll forget otherwise”.

It was only after spending the day sightseeing and a night there with no further mention of instagram or interesting places that I looked...

With little to go on we really struggled to find the exact same field but we gave it our best shot.

We also managed to lose both the Moho and the scooter yesterday..

CC29CC62-6BF9-4ED2-92A4-A4B2126F9264.jpeg

We left the Moho in the aire by the stadium and went out on the scooter. The freedom to roam around was fantastic...until we headed back to where we thought the Moho was. Eventually reunited, we then took the scooter out into town to park up and have a wander...you can guess the rest...
Oh how we laughed.

Evening, you are both looking very well, looking forward to your travels, it seems to have been ages since the last, always good to know these 'incidents' don't only apply to us

We had a child stair gate at bottom when ours was a puppy. Gradually started leaving it open then removed it one day.
Now he won't go upstairs, paws on bottom step is as far as hell go (y)
The carnage downstairs was quite enough for us.

We also managed to lose both the Moho and the scooter yesterday..

Ahhh! It’s good to know that I’m not the only one that does that. . .

Lovely thread. Thank you for taking the time and effort to share your adventures. Loving Millie’s expressions!
