Mouse deterrent

Just trying to get peoples views on ultrasonic type mouse deterrents. We currently put mousetraps in the engine under the bonnet after suffering from wires being chewed last year. Hubby thinks we should try one of the ultrasonic type but not sure how successful they are.

They can't jump but they certainally could climb the legs from seeing them (the pads on mice's feet allow them to club surprisingly slippery surfacts).

I would just put peppermint spray around each leg (the laquer stuff) and it shuold help I guess.

Sorry to disappoint but they can leap.....

I have tried them and they do not work!
