We had pre booked the site ! had to push the hedge a bit to get in , a very private back yard, not so easy scrambling out of the front passenger door with drinks etc.

This is our favourite place for visits to Edinburgh We've stopped recommending it now as we can never get in ourselves........our avatar photo was taken from here last year. We used to always stay at the CC site at Marine Drive, but stopped going there for a few reasons (one being the walk along the unlit road at nights.) But Slatebarns is so handy for the bus into the city......little gem of a place and Mrs Ferguson is so friendly
From your photo is looks like you were in the corner pitch facing the gate, we were in the pitch up from that when the photo was taken.
