Motorhome fairy light and flags

"Mines Bigger`n yours":D2. Often, especially at Shows, you will get, say, someone with a 4M pole, next thing his neighbour has a 5M, so he get a 6M. Can be quite entertaining to watch, especially with a beer in hand!.(y). The one get some lights, and the "competition" goes on.:D2

Fairy lights can be a safety feature. If you run them up and down any guy ropes holding your awning down, then Mr and Mrs one-too -many sherbets don’t fall over them at 2am and threaten to sue you.
(By the way, I’m a fully paid up member of the sherbet club and would never find the ‘van again without flags and fairy lights to navigate by)!

I don’t have a flagpole- mainly because it would probably fall down and kill someone.

I love to see the flags though and, as previously said, use them to navigate my way back to my van :)

I think flags & lights are fine for rallies etc. but on a regular campsite I think they are out of place and why some folks want to fly the English/Scottish/Welsh/German etc. flag (often with a skull & cross bones too) on a normal campsite is beyond me!! :cautious:

I am SURE you mean "flags"...

You play your game and let him play his

No Lights though, However?.

This is definitely one for @Silver-Fox .

What you trying to say?

I’m the life and sole of the rally field with two flag poles?

One for the flags and the other for the led sequencing lights.

Am I bothered it might upset others?
Nope :D

If the flags get noisy at night I will take them down out of courtesy to others and the lights go off.

They look like flags to an uneducated git like me :)
Me too, but the queens standard is just the queens flag, can only be flown by HRH, and an ensign is again just a flag, so they’re all flags (y):whistle:

A bit like my flag then, only flown by me :)
Seems like I’ve more in common with the Queen than I thought :)

I was led to believe the main reason for flags and lights was to guide people late at night who had too much to drink back to their own vehicles ..........
:france::france::france::france:
The real confusing part is when everyone on a rally is flying the same "Funster" flag. How do you find your way back then???:confused::D2:D2

Don’t do Flags..
I do have some ‘fairy’ lights, not the flickering sort just plain white strung over the sink (rear window) they’re pleasing in the winter months when it’s dark & miserable & same with some blue ones on one side window.
