Just my thought, is that Alex may end up with a Honda contract but at LCR, as Cal Crutchlow is/was.

Looks a good series. Disappointed they can't confirm public attendance if any as left in limbo re tickets for Misano. Ticket company can't refund yet as race still scheduled to go ahead and nothing official re crowd size
 
With a bit of luck, now they have a confirmed calendar agreed with the countries and authorities, they maybe able to start to investigate the possibilities of fans etc.

I would suggest that it may still leave people like yourself in limbo, until really close to the event to allow them to look at the current status of the various restrictions in the region. 😢

Fingers still crossed tho 🤞🏻

He'd already had a warning when he ran off the track and through the gravel dropping him to nearly last place. He then set about the task of catching the leaders and got up to 3rd before throwing it up the road. I know it's his MO but on this occasion he should have settled for what he had bearing in mind that it's a short season and any lay-off could be the end of it.
I've not seen it mentioned on here but Cal has been sacked by LCR and as yet doesn't have a ride for next year. Alex Marquez will take his place and when you see his performance on the factory Honda you have to think that they are backing the wrong man.
 
I said exactly the same re Marquez,after the amazing mega save,the bike was twitchy,everyone quoted tyre probs with the heat during the press conference.I said to my wife if that had happened to me I would have just backed off a bit and got some good points.
Sorry he is hurt but just a bit too gung ho and cocky for me,could cost him the championship with the way the young guns are doing,gonna be a great,if short season.
Cant see him back next weekend with a broken arm,I know they are all superhuman but that’s seems a bit too ambitious,roll on Friday!!

I rode my brothers NorVin with a broken ankle and pot on but I wasn't racing. :oops:

Didn't look up to it in FP and only did the one lap in qualifying. Big up for him and Crutchlow just for getting on the bikes. Looking forward to the race tomorrow 👍
 
It’s got to be so so sore.......especially riding a Honda that wants to kill you.

Fair play to Marc, Alberto Puig and the team tho.....it’s a short season anyway and it isnt going to be won tomorrow, so probably the right decision.
 
Well looks like we may have a new bit of racing next year,where,the Isle of Wight of course!!
Seriously,been in the wind for about a year,course looks a bit like the North West.
A long straight with the military road,right on the edge of the cliffs.
Steve Plater,rider liaison officer,Matt Neil,touring car bod,some input.
Council have agreed a contract.
Plater says a beautiful road surface,pencilled in for October.I may sigh up for marshalling,done my time on the IOM so could be something new and different.
Happy days.

Admittedly I had started to doubt the desire and will to put it on the line....but with a record like this
