Another shuffle of the cards….

Jarvis also said that if Jake does well this weekend, he's likely to ride it again this year. So he's the master of his own future
:)

Binder is the only other real threat, so he'll be hoping JD does shit

Toprak will get a ride in 2023 I reckon

The problem with Toprak is that his manager Keenan Sofoglu is heavily tied in with Red Bull and doesn't want his rider being with another sponsor. Yamaha's sponsor are Monster energy, a competitor of Red Bull.

Without being rude, there's loads of folk who think the racing is far more important than 1 person.

He was top rider, but I never bought into the hero worship.
Everyone has to have a Hero 👍🏻

Well someone paid £10000 for a pair of Rossi signed used boots yesterday at the auctions they do for riders for health.
I used to work on that auction and met all the stars backstage

Spoiler
Marquez has just thrown the bike down the road at Becketts at 170mph. Got up and walked away OK.
Cruthclow is only just over 1 second behind Marquez who is the fastest before the crash. Dixon was under 3 seconds off.
McPhee threw it away in the first session.
Top marks for trying but there are some easy (imo!) forum tools for writing spoilers without spoiling (y)

No dramas, just thought you were making an effort & would be interested in assistance.

We were in the golf club camping area, not impressed at all, toilets not cleaned the whole weekend, small music tent with mediocre band and few food outlets. Woodlands much better, will be going back there next year.

We have also just returned from camping at Silverstone Golf Club for the first time and arrived at the same assessment, back to Woodlands next time…

It will be intersting to see how John McPhee gets on with a heavier bike after many years on the wee ones.

Fingers crossed he does well as moto3 time nearly up for him.

It was mentioned on one of the BT MotoGP programmes, probably during a break in practice.

That's me just home this evening from Misano. It was excellent!! I'm pretty knackered after my travel, as they wouldn't give me my pre-booked and paid for hire car, as I don't have an international driving licence....... I had to get the train from Bologna to Catollica which was a bit of a pain. The lassie said that due to Brexit, they no longer accept UK driving licences in Italy. I've done some research and I'd beg to differ on the ruling of that one.....

I'll post some photos up tomorrow when I get a chance.

I had a great view from my balcony in Catollica which was perfect for me, as I love killing time watching the world go by. I stayed at this hotel when I was last at the Misano GP in 2019.

The standard Covid test for coming home was straight forward enough. I used a company called Qured who did a video call with me whilst I conducted the test to make sure I was doing it correctly and they issued my fit to fly home cert within a couple of hours of doing the test. I've got my day 2 test tomorrow, so that kit shall be arriving tomorrow by DPD.

All in all it was a great trip. I was over on my own, but caught up with some people I knew and really enjoyed being able to go back and enjoy a MotoGP event live.

Circuit looks great from a spectators viewpoint.

I'm hoping to pop over for a trackday in Spring.
Next year or year after will probably be my last year with a litre monster and the skill to muster it around

Does anyone use MotoGP Videopass?
I have BT Sport through EE with large screen so I can watch it on the TV at home or when away in the motorhome. I don’t watch any other sport apart from MotoGP and like the commentators but I keep getting sent offers for Videopass.

We watch as you do via BT but through a tv package, that can also be viewed when we’re away.
My mate is Austria uses the videopass and says it is very good.
Don’t forget that all the footage whether BT or VideoPass is all supplied by Dorna.

Who does the commentary with Videopass ? I was thinking of ditching BT sport as I only have it for the bikes.

I think Simon Crafar is one, but I don’t know the rest. I will find out next time I speak to my mate
