Hey Guys
Hope you are all well and starting to get out and about in your vans, in the meantime, I have a question regarding mot class clarification. I am looking at a local garage to do the next mot on my van ( 2018 fiat ducatto) The garage state that they do class 5 and class 7 motorhomes. How do I find out what class my motorhome is? I have looked at my log book but cant see anything on there and the garage are not open until tomorrow. Please give me a shout if you can point me in the right direction. Also, does anyone have any recommendations for garages that do motorhome mot and servicing in the Chesterfield / surrounding area.
Thanks in anticipation Pete @ Chesterfield

A couple of people with big vans and something bike/car in the garage have been caught out by MOT centres telling them it's a living van and then should be class 7, caused all sorts of problems for one guy.

Thanks for the responses and clearing up the "class" question, but if anyone knows of or can recommend a decent local garage in Chesterfield area that services motorhomes, I would be really grateful.
Thanks everyone

Just looking for a council MOT centre or a hire car place that's does MOTs such as udrive etc
I went to my local council where id previously too my smaller vans, but nope..wouldn't fit my A class... but yes class 4..
Went to the neighbouring council and no problem.
They had more room and bigger lifts
