What is it?

Here's some pointers to help you think.

For sale on here and (FB) I have a blow up air awning. £1100 new, used 2 or 3 times, changed van doesn't fit. I can practically not give it away!!! I advertised it at £400 a complete bargain I thought, yet despite 135 questions on FB two agreed deals where no one turned up and then blocked me, someone turning up and saying "oh I thought it was a drive away" still no sale and currently at £350.

5 spare wheels with nearly new winter tyres on two. You can have the tyres but you have to take the wheels. giving them away, literally, no Takers.

What other things did you buy that you never knew you needed and then frankly you didn't and took a massive hit on. Excluding the actual Motorhome btw we all take a hit on them.

Pretty sure the ££££ I paid for full air suspension adds very little to it's resale value.
pretty sure it won't either. My last van, the owner spent a fortune on Air and Self levelers for my enjoyment just 6 months before I bought it. Made the van a little more desirable but I loved it.
we all do these things though, part of the business.

You need to put them up in the classified section as well.

£900 off a brand new £4000 scooter that fits a lot of MH garages. Nobody wanted it. Eventually sold on Ebay for £950 under list.

Wind out awning.Used to use a parasol with a water filled base.Went all over france with us.Very handy as able to move where you needed it.Decided I needed a fiamma wind out awning. What a waste of money.I think we must have used it a dozen times in the last ten years.

Found our wind out awning handy to keep the rain off the hab door area.

Are you seriously saying the wheels and tyres are completely free?
What size are they?

Same question from me: I'm keen to get ONE spare wheel for my Merc (225 - 70 - 15 on 5 stud steel wheel) but I'd happily remove all of them if you need the space :giggle:

Thanks - Gordon

Nope, got offered 5k more when I mentioned the air.
You will have to be carful Lenny you will end up with more than it cost to buy🙂 from memory you got one of the best deals available when you bought it, bet your new Carthago costs a touch more👍

I might be wrong but I thought he already has got more for it than he paid.

I'll have a check, they are off a Ducato. I'll look in the morning.

sadly they are for a Ducato

We recently part exchanged our Carthago for a newer model and got 7k more than we paid for it 4 years ago. The dealer said they allow a third of cost price for accessories that have been fitted. Mind you I know that we paid over the odds for the new one.

I remember way back when, affixing little discs to the nearside inside of the windscreen. They cost a bloody fortune and were worth bugger all after a year.
That ‘taxed my brain’ working that one out🤣

Hi Haganap - Ducato wheels & tyres:
Whereabouts are you?
I would take them if within range of Bedford.
KR Peter.

I have 4 alloys plus tyres that was off my Bailey Autograph I’m selling.

Am I the only person who thinks their awning is providing value for money, sleeping accommodation for various grandchildren ove several years, couldn't get it as cost efficient any other way?
Have however lots of bits and pieces that ae seldom/never used, probably add up to the price of an awning🤣
