Currently in Oz and a gadget called Ozziemozzie looked interesting. Of course once I started looking there are loads of different ones, I just thought if the Ozzies are recommending them they may be good. Anyone had experience of using this type of gadget and are they effective before I waste my money

I once bought a similar device on Amazon and returned it after a few days.
It didn't attract a single mosquito.

Yes, probably written by Mozzies. We have had one several years, I can almost count on the fingers of one foot how many it's zapped, just a couple of stupid or curious mozzies, the rest give it a wide swerve. Makes a useful non intrusive non flashing night light though.!!

Bought a rechargeable bluelight mozzi light from Lidl Middle.
Works brilliant ..very satisfying loud #ZZAPP # ha ha you little pest got ya !!
However it needs to be the brightest light source or they go elswhere ..on you.
Leave it on overnight in the van and see the dead bodies in the morning that you didn't know were hiding.

As a by note, I don't suffer from reaction from gnat bites but my wife suffers terrible. We use this little device, a bit stingy but 100% effective relief.

We bought this one from Aldi off their centre aisle stuff. When I saw it I thought that wouldn't be much good but, it's brilliant. It has a rechargable battery via usb. we leave it on 24/7.
It has lights around the inner edge to atract the little b*****ds. We've had a very high success rate.

We have one that works like the owl, but shaped like a tennis racket. Stand it up or wave it around. Great for zapping. Can get quite addictive/obsessive trying to catch the bliters.

The similar hanging one we have works well on midges and gnats but doesn’t have much effect on mozzies.

However the USB rechargeable ‘Raquet of Doom’ is very effective in delivering 4000v of extreme prejudice to them! :swear:
