Morelo spotted

I've only just seen this thread for the first time ... what a lot of ruddy hot air about nothing ...

I have to admit though from the thread title I thought that the Chinese had made their own version of the Morello! :imoutahere:

That’s very plausible Mel, they bloody well copy everything else, albeit very cheaply, maybe there’s a Chinese Westy66 copy coming out that I could afford:rofl:

MY LORD, well ignoring the nasty comments, Id like to thank this thread for showing me what a Morelo is.
I now have something to apsire too...lovely :) and well done to anyone who has one.

if you like Morello you will be amazed at a Concorde but don’t mention this to Morello owners as they are a bit sensitive:ROFLMAO:

But Concorde need cutting down to size......

.......well they do for us as a Credo 841M with island bed at 8.5m is a bit too long for wilding and Aires.

It's the island bed that's doing it Geoff Home 82M is only 8.25m ;) , you will just have to settle for a transverse Loft 74H model at 7.74m or 74H home at 7.45m,

You re going to struggle to find something shorter with an island Bed with a usable lounge Geoff. Many of the smaller island bed models have arrangement where the bed sort of folds and slides.

I know its no shorter but have you looked at the Charisma 840F which still has a usable garage?

If you had seen footage tonight of Sir Philip Greens yacht parked up in Monaco harbour then it makes Concorde and Morelo look like 2 bob piles of garbage, wow and double wow.

Wonder if he does tours of that for a small fee of course?

It's all relative Paul, sometimes I feel like a king and sometimes a pauper, but always happy (y)

I wonder how his 13,000 employees and 10,000 pensioners feel about his lavish lifestyle as Arcadia collapses leaving their own futures uncertain?

True Martin, but nevertheless I would love a tour around that though especially moored in Monaco. " Lionheart" it's called, beautiful.

Well, according to Wiki ........

In April 2019, it was reported that the Arcadia group, controlled by Philip Green's family, had recorded a £300m deficit into its pension fund, while the Green family had cashed out £1.2bn in dividends from Arcadia in 2005

If you haven’t seen the sketch you won’t have a clue what I’m talking about!😉

I too am happy with my lot👍

I know island beds add to length but so do separate shower and toilet and the combined effect of both. i would be happy with combined shower and toilet and island bed, but they do not seem to exist at least not by the manufacturers you and I contemplate.

I have been looking at the Home 82M

If we do not get an island bed there is not much point in changing from our Arto, except for LHD, but that is another story for another time. Oh and a second garage door, but getting Polch to fit that would be cheaper than changing to anything.

Paul can you recommend a good source for specs on those older Concorde models? Do Concorde have them secreted on their website anywhere or is there a Concorde owners club(Maybe even FB which I am not on, yet) that has the info, please?

Hi Geoff

Apologies for not being Paul but I most likely have more time on my hands than he has ;)

If you google search there are a few, old brochures and price lists http://www.southdownsmotorcaravans.co.uk/2012-concorde-motorhomes/2012-concorde-downloads.php

Yes I think they do now Martin there have been some potential owners join this year and that's just how it should be too. I enjoy an occasional jaunt over on the Morelo forum as you know.

Nice motorhomes are nice motorhomes regardless of a sticker.
