Misterton Thanks

We would also like to thank Sheila and Mick, Shirley and Andy and everyone else who helped to make it a great weekend. We really enjoyed it and it was good to put a few more faces to names. Thanks also to the musicians and the quiz setters (even if we couldn't answer some of them). Thanks again and Sheila, you know you want to do another one next year! We will be there....

Thanks to all - firstly to Sheila, Mick, Shirley and Andy for organising & running a brilliant weekend, but also to those who helped it along, whether seen or unseen. Among the seen, special thanks to Suggy & Makems for the music.

It was great to meet friends old (ok, those we met for the first time at Chester, our first ever rally ) & new. It was good to put some more faces to names. Thank you to all who made us both feel welcome.

Well done to Canopus (Ken) for organising & delivering the additional tentage - given the weather it would have been a very different meet without the shelter. (y)

We were rubbish at the quiz & not much better at 'match the picture', but that wasn't the point of either exercise. They both got people mixing.

Continuing the thanks to all those front of shop and behind the scenes for this weekend, a great time was had

Great planning, great beer while it lasted, good to see money raised for H4H

More new friends made see you all somewhere soon hopefully

David Bev and Lola

As already been said , Great weekend, will come again if allowed, thanks all for the effort put in,

We would like to say a great big thank you to all funsters for making this weekend such a success and special thanks to all the chefs, food servers etc who worked equally hard over this weekend. Mick would like to ask is it true that we may not see brian (Hilldweller ) for a while as it appears that he has moved to Luton. Seriously Dinah hope that he makes a quick recovery after his unexpected tangle with proper booze lol and it effects.

dave and bev, josh sends lola his love. lol

Hi Andy,
We have 2 chairs left at the rally which we are given to believe belong to you, what would you like us to do with them x
Sheila

Yet another triumph you guys, thank you so much, loved it. Northern generosity is first class, and a huge breakfast available for all, pleased to see we finally were allowed to have some event tents up north! Makes a huge difference.. Thanks to Canopus for bringing them along :0)
But one last question.
BRIAN, BRIAN, WHERE THE HELL IS BRIAN...???

Spoke to Dinah a short while ago. He's ok and in bed.

Thanks to everyone who worked so hard.
Best breakfast ever!
Thanks again.
Brian and Margaret.

The other Brian!

Many thanks Sheila, Mick, Shirley and Andy and all the rest of the gang who helped with the Cakes BBQ and Full Breakfast this morning. Suggy and Mike for the music. (y)
Enjoyed the Idle Dog at the pub, and had a great weekend with another fellow Rapido owner.o_O Its OK Shiftzz I never let them put anything in your drink.
Must say never had pork dripping on bread before, got educated on buying pork pies HOT and eating them HOT with mushy peas and mint sauce, and not mushy peas out of a tin.o_O
Out of a packet soaked over night and boiled for 2 days. ;) :ROFLMAO:
Great weekend and a night in tonight on the coffee. (y) Bob and Jane.

A big thanks from us for a great weekend. Sheila, Mick, Shirley and Andy did a great job. We loved the communal BBQ and the music last night. Must say, breakfast was very impressive too.
Thanks to everyone for our card - you made our wedding anniversay one to remember.

Thanks to all workers involved.
Last minute visit but enjoyed the dregs of the meet, (referring to our arrival not the participants!) after arriving 3pm sun.

Looking forward to attending a full show at Malvern and remembering more names, at least for a couple of hours.

Thanks to the hangers on for tolerating us in the arctic circle - "first chilled red since Spain"

Darren & Lynne

We also echo all of the above, thanks to Sheila, Mick, Shirley, Andy and all their helpers for a wonderful weekend. The 8 item breakfast was delicious and so unexpected. The cakes were wonderful. The beer was so popular it soon disappeared, hope this was not Hildwellers downfall. Evening entertainment was great. We hope we can return again next year, please run it again. Thanks.

Daily Mail....
Hilldweller Downed by Sheila.
The infamous Hilldweller was floored by the notorious Sheila with an antique Venetian glass in full view of the assembled company, it was believed to be a revenge attack for what he did to her the previous year. Hilldweller was flown by air ambulance to Rotherham General Hospital where the chief surgeon declared him incurable.

Sun...
Hilldweller drowned by a shelagh from Rotherham.
The notorious woman from Rotherham, known locally as Runrig, smashed the frail old man known to all his friends as Hilldweller because he lives in a little hut on the windswept Pennines. What the Pennines could not do Rungig did with one merciless attack with a pint pot. Local doctor Anus McTavish pronounced him dead at at the scene. The Police are treating the death as suspicious.

Sounds like I missed a great meet. Had booked on originally but was some confusion about it clashing with the Dorset meet. I hope to be there next year

Just like to say a great big thanks to Sheila, Mick, Shirley and Andy and all the other helpers for a fantastic weekend.
It was our first Funster rally but it'll not be our last.
Can't wait till the next one.

Just had to add my thanks to the organisors..... what terrific weekend this was despite the weather trying to spoil it... I could sleep, walk, talk, eat or drink.... brilliant .. do what you want and it was fun. The organisation was amazing and there wasn't a minute of any day that there wasn't something organised if you so felt you wanted to do it. Met some lovely people ... special friends from the Fix it meet as well as old ones. Thanks to Jill for the badge, to Terry, to Busman, to Andy, to Joyce and John, to Dave and Polly, oh the list goes on and on and on..... Sheila you deserve a medal as do the helpers, and money to a wonderful cause of Help the Heroes to boot. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

A huge thankyou to Sheila & Mick, Shirl & Andy and and all your supporting helpers for all the hard work and planning,
and to Mike & Suggy for the great entertainment, (y) we had a fantastic weekend everything was perfect, met lot's more new funsters and had a great catch up with all the old ones:rolleyes: looking forward to the next meet already but still having flashbacks about the poor chickens

Daily Truth.....
Hilldweller spreads most outrageous cover-up rumours since the Iraq WMD scandal

OBJECTION.

Strike this comment from the records.

1. Witness is from Glossop.
2. Witness was not there at the material time.
