Sorry to hear about Rob and hopefully he makes a quick recovery, so walking football seems to be not a less dangerous sport as was thought, maybe just stick to the falling down juice where a thick head is just the only outcome (only kidding) get well soon xx

I'm so sorry we are going to have to cancel our place at Misterton. Rob has torn his Acchiles and is having an operation this morning no driving for 3 months.
He and I are both gutted as we were really looking forward to this meet. Everyone says it is a great get together.
So bump up the next reserve and see you next year.
He is banned from walking football for ever!!
I shall just have to put away my coconuts and hula skirt until next year

Oh @Anthea M, that's such a shame. You're not too far from us...Terry could drive your van over to Misterton and back, for you both....

But our bed is very high off the floor and would be difficult with a pot!

Terry has a hacksaw and gaffer tape so so could do an on off operation on the cast and I am sure we would have a lot of volunteers to put him to bed as hilldweller well knows xx

Aww, wish we could have helped. I'm not sure Terry would feel happy about hacking the cast about, let alone how you and Rob would feel about it lol

Oh, that's a real shame. Was looking forward to seeing you two again (not to mention a tune or two).

We'll have to call & say 'Hello' next time we are visiting the brothers-in-law in Sheffield. That would be a funny get-together - Jane would struggle to get into your house & Rob would struggle to get into our van. You & Jane will have to have a coffee in the van while I have a coffee with Rob in the kitchen.

I think Rob was demonstrating how the Owls players take penalties and kicked the table leg by mistake. Hope he improves quicker than they do otherwise it will be 6 points next season to the those who must not be mentioned.

Hi Funsters,

If anyone coming to this rally has not informed us of as to whether they are having the Hog Roast or pork pies please can you let us know, also if you can tell us when you will arrive/leave it would be appreciated. You can arrive early and stay later.

The theme of this meet will be HAWAIN PARTY same as last year as we did not do activities we had planned due to rain stopping play. Please note that the option to dress up is your choice but it did look good last year.

Hi Colmorangie,

Yes we can always fit it in to run for the weekend, so if you or anyone else has anything to sell whether motorhome related or not please feel free to bring it along, I think we may have something to sell. The programme that I put on another thread was only a brief one, but it got lost in the long list of other rallies/meets that have been posted, never getting to the top of the page.
