Missing Solo Lady Motorhomer In Spain/Portugal - Help Required

Vodafone (very popular a few years ago)
Metatrac
Scorpion

Are names that come to mind, but there are more.
Also ask the original dealer, if they know who sold it to her
Also a quick call to the major installers such as VanBitz would tell you if they have the number plate listed.
Have passed that on to Paul with some contact links (y)

Trackstar is another one.

The search for this lady goes on, l have searched all the wilding and park ups in my area as l am sure many others have done. The amount of coverage on Social Media is very high and yet no sight nor sound of her, doesn’t it beg the question that she doesn’t want to be found for her own good reasons.

Thank you for doing that.
If her son thinks it is out of character though ?? As a lady of the same age, I don’t think I would suddenly want to lose touch knowing that family might be worried.
Being in a no signal area maybe, but she has the means to move and was intending to move so unlikely always in a no signal area.
My fear is that she was overcome with that recent heatwave and is inside her MH somewhere.
Hopefully the family will get positive news soon.

Has anyone checked hospitals? -police may have done if they have recorded her as missing.

I am not wishing this to be the case, but she could have fallen unconscious and not able to give anyone contact details.

I am just trying to cover all bases.

Perhaps, however images of the Motorhome are all over Social Media and this is what l was looking for not the lady.
Let’s hope she’s found or comes forward soon.

Keep a look out people she could be anywhere in Andalucia and the Motorhome wouldn’t be difficult to spot, small with a large swipe decal on the side.

4th May 2023.
Updated 5th May,
My Mum is travelling alone through Portugal and Spain in her Motorhome, she has not been in touch for four days and we are unable to make contact with her. It has been reported to the police and the British consulate and she is now on the European Interpol missing list.
She last posted on FB Saturday evening on the 29th April and we believe the beach photos taken were somewhere near, Playa De Almayate, Bajimar. Near Malaga.
She is driving an Elddis Autoquest 2012.
Reg PO62CZE, we are unsure of the direction She may be travelling but claimed she was driving 2/3hrs a day.
Her name is Jasmine, she is 73/74 years old, 5ft 7inch long dark brown hair.
If anyone is currently in the south of Spain around Malaga or the southern coast of Spain could you please check the sites or aires you are in for the vehicle.
I can be contacted via email
Paulhdale@gmail.com
Or contact the local Malaga Police with any information. Tel: 952046200 or the British consulate.
THANK YOU PLEASE
From all the new info we have, the last place she was seen or heard from was Playa De Almayate Bajimar.
She left there at 10.30am and we believe she is heading for Granada via B roads.
This is the route I think she has taken to Granada. Makes sense lots of scenery and two lakes to visit. There is a camping site called camping Granada Los Bermajales she may have stopped in on the second lake.
A356 to Velez Malaga heading toward Los Gomez.
From the first lake the A402 towards Puento De Salia, onto Ventas De Zafarraya.
Then A338 to the lake with the campsite.
After that the road leads to Granada.
There are a few routes to Granada and probably lots of places to stop. If anyone knows anyone who can help search the B roads to Granada or Granada back to Playa de Almayate its possible and likely she is really rural with no phone signal. Possibly gone off the road in an accident. She would not have stopped to overnight without Internet or phone signal.
Thank you everyone your doing an amazing job!!!
❤️

Great news thankyou for sharing. It goes to prove that motorhomers are generally a great bunch of people. When things like this happen we share far and wide. Often it is good news at the end, but certainly not always the case

Martin and I and two friends have an tracker app on our phones. David is cycling from the French border above Canfranc back to Murcia. At any time we can all see where he is.

It's definitely a good idea for any solo travellers to have something similar.

Good news that she wasn't lost though.

Which 'App' do you have?

It's a free App Life360. It works reasonably well.

Where we all are atm.

And zoomed into David's position. And I've just told him to get his phone charged 😂

This appeal from Paul Dale is all over Facebook Groups & looks genuine so hoped that Funsters in Spain & Portugal might be able to keep a look out for this missing lady motorhomer & maybe share to other motorhomers too:

We are a bit north of Malaga at the moment but will approach much closer on Monday. Will keep eyes peeled.

You have missed a few posts, the missing lady is safe and has made contact with her family

So glad all is well but as she was oblivious to the concerns of her son it makes one think that she wasn’t expecting to be in contact and it wasn’t normal for her to report her travels every day. So why was the son suddenly in a panic and reporting her missing after a relatively short time ?

None of our business really - Paul asked motorhoming communities for help - we all did what we could & luckily Jasmine was found safe & well so all her family are very much relieved after a stressful time so that should be an end of it now.
Social media is awash with speculation but think this forum should be better than that.
