Missing a Trick here???

We had a plug in single hob induction for a while.
It was fast, faster than the regular electric hob BUT all the cosmetic plastic parts began warping and cracking.
Had it been enamelled metal it would still be in use today

Exactly like carolyn we had always used gas until we moved into this house as we liked the immediate controllability up/down in temperature.

When we moved here the kitchen was in such a mess it had to be ripped out and replaced. Our trusted builder suggested the induction hob and we love it. As controllable as gas for quick temperature changes and much easier than a gas hob to clean. πŸ‘

That is an interesting comment. I had always cooked on gas until I moved to be with Basia who has always cooked on electricity, which on conventinal hobs I find difficult because the element cycles on/off, which makes things like sauces difficult.

We are moving house in a couple of months, but the kitchen is very good so we will probably not have to change anything, maybe later. As for MH, the L/A batteries are 2 years-old so I hope we will not be changing for some years and by then there will be more feedback about using LiFePo4 for induction hobs.
