Hi, have a look in the search facility, there are several brands available mostly with glowing reviews in various price brands.

Our Mirrorguards have come off best in the few mirrors jousting matches we have with oncoming vehicles.
Not had to replace a mirror glass yet, and with just a rub over with a spot of T- cut and they are as good as new again. 👍
I stuck a square of reflective tape on ours so vehicle coming the other way at night get a better idea of where our wing mirrors are.

Used but never bashed seriously by on coming traffic. PM me for conversation......

The 'new' MirrorGuards have 'silver circle' reflectors with their name on them fitted. I tried to remove them not realising their purpose but was advised by MirrorGuuard that they were there for a purpose! To stop people placing forward facing Orange Day Glow strips etc., on them which is apparently illegal.

These are extremely good.
Very tough, available in white, black or as shown, but admittedly a tad on the expensive side.
I have the Mercedes Sprinter ones.

We have white Mirror Protectors on our Van, they do get a bit grubby though but a good wash does the trick.

I had orange dayglo stickers on mine when exiting the port at ROSCOFF a gendarme questioned them - he said they normally indicate a vehicle is carrying weapons!

Has anyone seen or tried these ones from Pro-Carbon? Thanks.CARBON FIBRE WING MIRROR PROTECTORS – FIAT DUCATO / PEUGEOT BOXER / CITROEN RELAY YEAR 2007 ONWARDS

Silver on mine. Stands out more than black, or white on a white van. Match the silver grill surrounding
Mirrorguard do a metallic grey which is a perfect match to Rapido Artense Grey.👍

I got those for my Fiat Ducato after loosing the complete mirror in Scotland last year but mine are painted blue to match the rest of the motorhome

I have used Mirror Guards on all my vehicles over 15 years. The same pair. 2 years ago had an argument with a lorry resulting in the mirror coming onto door and the Mirror guard went flying. Picked it up and apart from road scratches and a large crack it went back on. Had to do the old trick with abs cracks and small hole at end, filled with body filler and it is still on van today.

Make sure you get the ones that are lined like a motor bike helmet, they provide much better protection when colliding with something. Stay away from the thin one-layered ones.

Is it illegal in Europe or just a British rule?
Portugal has very different road rules to UK

I have white Mirrorguards.

After having Milenco previously that ejected with a sharp bang against a branch allowing the mirror to disintegrate... Pay a bit more!

Also fitted short arm mirrors. With the left one completely b*ggered I needed to replace it anyway. No problems with rear vision...

In France you don't see many 'Camping Cars' fitted with Mirror Protecters, Milenco are the only ones available here. I don't think I have ever seen anybody put reflectors on their mirrors so would think it is illegal here. Basically, even fitting the Mirror Protectors could be considered illegal as they are not an original factory fitted accessory.
