has anyone had this happen to them , had these on for nearly 4 years now , put silver screens on during the last couple of weeks folded the arms in to stop the screens flapping went to remove them yesterday and the guards came off in my hands, it looks like the sticky pads have lost the sticky stuff when you touch the pads they are just about tacky so looks like some stikall is needed or maybe some different guards ??

Double sided pads are unsuitable. The covers are easy to steal or fall off. I sell a type of mirror covers with a clip that has to be unscrewed to remove, far more reliable. I've never had a customer loose one and mine have been on for 7 years+

If using sikaflex, how will you take the Guards off if needed (been damaged)?

I bought from jezport, they were £39.99 for my 2022 Ducato; I believe they also fit the 2012 model.

They arrived in no time and were easy to fit; the screwed clip fitting makes them secure, and I am very satisfied with them.

I don't want to risk any forum rule breaches on advertising by posting a link, but look on a popular on-line market and you'll find him; his avatar is a clue.

EDIT: Nevermind the cloak and dagger comment above, he's since posted a link!😉

Thanks.
Which maker (MirrorGuard?) makes it, what sort of Padding do they have?
I use these myself, they are a flexible plastic that doesn't crack like the original ones. The padded ones make the mirrors larger and heavier so bigger mirrors are more likely to be struck, and the increased weight could also make them more prone to damage if struck. I've had mine hit a number of times and they survived..
