Rally Millport 2-6 June 2022

Thanks to all of you! we were lucky with the weather but what most of you don’t know the sunshine had been ordered from last year. 😁

Meets are only a success with the help of others , it’s team work for me so any credit is due to Tracy,Jay and Mew and the BBQ boys David, Mick and Chris they all put in the real hard graft, not to forget Alan for taking care of the fire pit.

Was good to put faces to names with meeting the lovely PJ650 Peter and Ann, and recruiting another funster Tivvy.

Nothing like a few pics to make me jealous 🤮,my poor wee van is still not fixed😞. Looks like you all had a great time , brilliant 👍.
Cheers Cris.

Pugsy if you think the photos made you jealous just wait til you see the video 😂

We had great company but we did miss yours too. Hope to see you at Musselburgh, ps drinks are on you with your £50 😂

Keep an eye on the thread and a link will be posted here in the next few days to the video link 👍

To anyone else reading the thread we are back at Millport for New Year, still time to get your name down.

Thank you so much Sandra for inviting us to join your meet up this weekend whilst we were in Millport and letting us know about MotorhomeFun! It was lovely to meet everyone in the group and spent some time with you all! And thank you to the ladies and gents who prepared and served up all the wonderful food. Hopefully we will cross your your paths again on our travels! Best regards Mandy, Jeff and Ryan 😊:ta:

Just want to add our thanks to all involved in organising this meet. Thanks to Sandra and Mew for all their hard work and also to Jay and Tracey for the lovely spread they put on for us all.

And a final thanks to the weather gods.

Now parked next to the Leeds and Liverpool Canal and the sun is still shining on us. Letting our pub meal settle down a bit before going for a walk along the tow path.

Peter and Angela

You've shifted some miles today. Peter. We appreciate the miles involved for you and the almost straight up north and back south. Next time try hanging around awhile to justify the fuel cost (y) Safe onward journey to your next meet.

Sorry for delay, but here is copy of receipt for money raised by all you wonderful, kind hearted
Funsters that attended different rallies in Scotland. Your generosity was much appreciated.
Thank you 👍

Not a bad wee amount considering there was no fundraising and it was mostly leftover bbq money at each event. 👍

Ps: Next years meet will be taking place weekend 8th June

Will there be more meets before or after so we can make the trip up from Kent worth it.
Totally get it, its got to be worthwhile for the fuel costs thats why I always try to do a few. Most likely Hawick before and Falkirk after but I'm also "looking" at Helensburgh. Millport next year will most likely be the last unless they are willing to renegotiate. Always on the lookout for a different venue. Make the most of next yrs Millport £10 with elec. (y)

Anyone with any fresh ideas of new places please shout out.
