Might Start My Festive Adventure Tomorrow... Might Not...

Another brilliant drive today from Pego Altar to Armação de Pera.

My face hurts from smiling...

Yesterday's drive down the N2 was brilliant but it was sunny today.

Parked up at the €4 for 24 hours "site" by what used to be called the football club carpark.

No football club any more but some HUGE apartment developments well under way.

Photos tomorrow I hope... Lamb Passader and Piliou rice now at the Bollywood Indian Restaurant.

Does it make you feel good paying to park JJ putting money into the local community. 😜
Has it gone up 😉 I thought it was €1.50. 😲
What about the black pork or is that tomorrow. 😁 Bob.

I like all sorts of unmentionable meaty? objects of dubious provenance.......saveloys......kebabs......various pies ( especially Hollands meat pies)..... and care not a fig what anyone thinks including my good lady wife

A butcher local to us has recently been taken to court by trading standards accused of only putting meat in one end of the sausage!!
When asked by the Magistrate why he’d done it he replied that because of the pandemic times were really hard and he had found it impossible to make both ends meat!!!😊😊

I am in your hands here as to what they might be.

I call them sausages but I care little for what anyone else calls them to be honest.

Sunny morning...

Not too crowded.

Off to visit a German motorhome repair and accessory guy who works from the official campsite to see if he can deal with my confusing electrics...

Then to the Supermarket of Shame (hoping they have had a sausage delivery since yesterday).

Be good everyone...

Absolutely, you get curry snobs who think if your curry doesn't burn your tounge off it's not real, but what's wrong with eating what you like, same as anything, I like McDonald's and KFC as well but how does it harm anyone if they don't like them.
You eat to live not to be trendy.

Your living far to high on the hog my friend. It will only end in tears. That Burstner does not have the same payload as the Hymer.

I am wondering how many Wagon Wheels would I have to eat before they killed me?

JJ
I don't know, but more than you could in the 1970s because they was bigger then. 😁
My mate drove for Burtons and I went with him one day, he loved multi drop, but unlike proper jobs he didn't have a minute to spare 🙄 and I was starving. 😲

He threw a box of wagon wheels in the cab, I ate them until I felt sick, 🤮 😲 then he dug out a box of crisps. 🙄
But I can assure you not as many as you think. 😁 Bob.

We had lovely waitrose pork and leek with mash the other day but might be problematic getting the stuff to Portugal now with borders closing and Brexit 😭

All sausages should be slightly burnt to enhance the flavour accompanied by Sainsbury’s curry sauce in a bloomer loaf.😀😀

For 48 to 50 weeks a year I just buy food from Portuguese shops...

It is only down in the Algarve during the festive season that I go all "ex-pat"!

Normally the locally available stuff does me...
