Could any of you helpful souls let me know if O2 coverage via a MiFi in France and Spain is any good, if not what is the general consensus as to the best network provider for these countries.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Agree with above about Three, but remember it will only be 3G and limited to 19Gb (I think it now is) in Europe.

I use Vodafone for my iPhone and tether my laptop instead of using a mifi. You can get some very good deals at the moment, I get 40 gb with unlimited calls and texts. Importantly there are no limitations and no throttling and usually the signal is 4g.

Living the dream.
Virgin for us, brilliant coverage tagged onto Orange at the moment with constant 4g.

Vodafone all the way for me, Virgin, many years ago, tried 3, but cannot beat Vodafone for coverage, 4G no restrictions......offering lots of add on's.....

When we first started I had O2 on my phone and Three on the MiFi. I can't remember the phone not getting a signal anywhere and sometimes it was useful using the phone as a hotspot when I couldn't get a signal on the MiFi. So I think you should be fine using O2 but check your contract allows tethering. I've swapped both to Vodafone now but only because I could get more data than O2 were offering when I came to renew my contract, not because of poor coverage on O2.

Another vote for tethering with Vodafone.
