Mifi help

We’re not abroad at the moment…….unless you class Lincolnshire as abroad (Half Term child minding duties). The van is sitting at home in Somerset.

Mifi and phones all set up for Roaming, data saver on on phones until setting up for Hotspot. Internet access on all devices fine, but can’t get any of the UK TV stuff whilst overseas.

You need to check it's not connecting to a rogue WiFi signal.

In every country we visit? Cyprus, Germany, Spain, Netherlands and France?

I’m obviously missing something. My son and Daughter-in-law lived in Cyprus, Germany and The Netherlands and couldn’t get it to work using their UK contracts with Vodaphone either.

I’m baffled.

I find ghost iptv to be excellent and get almost endless channels from all over the world

A quick Google tells me my IP address is coming back as a UK one abroad, causing things like IPlayer to be blocked.

Solutions include changing VPN to fool the system of your location or using ‘cloaking’ apps.

Hi sorry . Done it. Just added superdrug as new apn. Easy really once you know what it is. Couldn't find the + to add but it was right down bottom of page.

Only thing I'm finding I'm getting better speed using 3g on old mifi than I am on new 4g mifi.

I have the same where I live, I believe it will be due to less people hitting the 3G mast so more bandwidth available.
