Mifi and data (1 Viewer)

Hi all ive recently become a motorhome owner and have been looking into the mifi portable routers i think they called
Ive a smarty data sim only for the fire stick, but how do we connect the mifi to fire stick as it shows up but then saying no internet connected
Im not really tec savy unfort so was hoping someone can help me set this up
Ive managed to change it name and given a password too but cant connect
Any advice be great thanks

What make/model is the mifi?

Does the sim work in your phone?

I dont think that's a make just type?

Is it set to connect automatically?

Have you set the APN for smarty sim?

What is showing on the mifi screen does it say 4g and some bars or similar?

Photos would help as well as your config.

Not set APN as not sure how to, its a smarty sim instructions say use comp to do this but then comp wants house wifi so when using tries to connect
Can this be done on a mobile how do i do the APN if on mobile
As i manged to change the name
Password etc on that
What is the APN for smarty and how do i do this please not tec minded
When mifi on it shows battery power wifi and signal that all it shows
On fire stick in network it shows mifi user name and asked for password which ive done but then firestick looking for wifi or data nothing
Sorry im not sure what im doing all i wanted was use data on the mifi unit not have to use mobile

If you Google the APN like I did there's loads of help out there

Could someone tell me the correct. Settings to setting up a data only SIM with a 4G router

You can set it up the way you changed password etc. Also make sure mobile data and data roaming are on.

Then on firestick go to settings, network and choose the mifi unit, add password that you set up for the wifi if not already done. You need to set 2.4 and 5 hz

Terrible review unfortunately. You might be better off buying something a bit more mainstream. eg. ZTE, Huawei, etc. Or even just use an old phone as a hotspot?

Something like a Huawei e5783 refurbished for £30 (acceptable condition) on Amazon probably much better.
