Planning to fit two Michelin Agilis Crossclimate, 225/75 16 inch tyres to the front wheels following my recent puncture.
The punctured Michelin tyre performed really well, as I still had full control of the motorhome during the incident. Thus giving me confidence in Michelin.
Has anyone had experience of these particular tyres, before I meet with my bank manager 🤔 😁

If you’re going to fit them then fit a full set.

The level of grip they offer in low temperatures will be way better than standard summer tyres so could cause you some stability issues if you mix them.

Just bought six done 1200 miles better traction on hills, but not quite as good on the bends as there is more movment in the tread.but exelent on wet roads and we’ve had plenty of them.

Had them fitted all round early 2023 and found them to be great. Felt I had more control (and confidence) inc cornering. Not cheap but glad I did it.

I bought five in April and have subsequently done about 3k miles on them. So far, I am very pleased with them. They are much quieter than the Agilis they replaced. Initially, I thought that they were more susceptible to 'tram lining' in the lorry ruts on motorways, but I've never noticed it since.

Never stop learning 😊
Great tyres, handling feels great, improved ride comfort and fuel economy since fitting them.

But, living in an area renowned for atrocious road surfaces and pot holes big enough to park a small campervan inside, they are not wearing well.

There's a difference between the Michelin Agilis Cross Climate and the Michelin Cross Climate (conveniently pictured above courtesy of PP Bear). I have had both and in my view the latter well out perform the former.

The tyres pictured are Cross Climate Camping. I personally would not go near anything with the word camping in the description!
The Agilis Cross Climates are normal van tyres available with the appropriate load ratings to select. They also have additional side wall protection.

I am a firm believer in Michelin Agilis Cross Climates and have said many on here that some get confused by them..
There are various sorts of Cross Climates
1...Cross Climates... for cars
2...Cross Climate Agilis...for van, and
3...Cross Climate Camper... a fair recent addition for motor homes..

I echo the praise above. Fitted ours a couple of years ago and they’ve been nothing but wonderful. Excellent grip, comfy ride, quiet.

I've found the opposite. I moved from the Agilis Cross Climates to the Cross Climate Camping and the ride improvement has been remarkable. Overall a much better tyre for our MH.

My existing tyres are 'Camping M+S'
They have performed well, and particularly when I had my puncture. Running on flat for a short distance. The tyre stayed in tact, and I could still steer to safety.
