Hi All,

I just had a look at our member's map - it's excellent....... Then I sat down and had another look. Not wanting to be a party pooper or challenging the cracking work (and no doubt time) that the administrators have put into this, but just by tapping on a balloon I can get the house/address/location of a stored/parked motorhome.
:Eeek:
Obviously this would be the owners 'fault' for giving the postcode in the first place, but no doubt given in the spirit of MHF.

Having read the recent motorhome theft threads sent a shiver down my spine to say the least. Could it be possible to find out what motorhome the tealeaf wants by looking through our signature panels, most of us have a near location and then pressing the nearest balloon for the address and a photo of the street/house and even directions.

Sobering!?

What do we think here??

Regards,

Trikeman.

Just read Kev's comments and had a look on the map........someone has moved us about 300 yards further up the road to a neighbour's cottage. We certainly wouldn't be able to get the van parked round behind his house because it would put us in the burn:Rofl1:

But interesting thoughts just the same...........

That's the reason we are on that roundabout, where the A15 crosses the old A16 (now A1175). When the trees are in bloom, we are well hidden, but it can get quite noisy at peak commuter times. :Rofl1:

Joking aside, I know exactly what you are saying Trikeman. :Eek!:

Cheers,

Jock.

Yes, a valid point.. that is why I said in my first post..
Purely voluntary and for security reasons you[HI] need only mark your nearest town, city centre or police station[/HI].

It's only designed to give an overall picture to show the spread of where the membership lives. If you give Jim just the town or the first part of your postcode, that's fine, or if like me you pinpoint your house precisely he'll add that too. Its up to you:thumb:

you can put us down as Brisbane, Australia.

Thanks
