I'm an oldbie MH number 10
Hi what started out as a mini get together for the rowdy midland lot spread a little further and father a field to Liverpool and Stoke.

Nikki & I have therefore spoken with upton barn campsite to arrange some pitches with or without electric for anyone else who wishes to join us.

Electric pitches are £15 per unit. :thumb:

The dates are 9/10th October.

The site has a swimming pool and a fishery as well as skittles, I have not arranged any entertainment as yet as it is really last minute, and like I say was merely a little meeting with some friends that got bigger. However I fully suspect that there will be a BBQ in true funsters fashion and a wee bit of drinking (after all Nikkis going to be there)

If you would like to join us on these dates then please pm me for instructions on booking.

Please also remember that this is the Linton Loch weekend, so for a nice autominal shake down you can find something for everyone this weekend where ever you are.

Wish we were there!

So sorry Paul. We can't be there as we are in Turkey for a month. Believe it or not we would prefer to be there, well for the weekend anyway. Have a great time and don't forget you have to put the fish back in the lake when you catch them and not on the bar-b-que

oh, I know Ruth, I really would of liked to come to the loch but unfortuantely circumstances went against us :Sad:. Im sure you willl have a great time. and im sure we will meet up again soon. :thumb:

call this meet a trial meet before I add a special meet to the callender for March :Wink:

We've paid the deposit and are looking forward to it. Although we'll have to disappear for a little while on the Saturday taking the girls to and from their dancing lessons. Good job it's only 4.62 miles away. :Rofl1: :Rofl1:

Hi all, Just an update on the meet in the middle.

Robinmclaren has offered to purchase some of the midlands finest bread rolls/baps/stoties or what ever you wish to call them for the BBQ. If anyone wishes him to get some then please PM him with your requirements, Im having a go.
The plan for us is to arrive on Friday following school so hopefully by 4-30 pm, There was really no plan other than to say that there will be a BBQ on Saturday and, any fisherman wishing to take part in a bit of a compo, £5 in biggest fish caught wins, on Saturday then that can be arranged. There will also be a knitting competition on the Saturday for the ladies, and a beer and strip club night for the men on Saturday, time to be arranged on the day-
so if your interested in joining please do.:thumb:
