Hi all. Can anyone point me in the direction for 90 day travel insurance. I have been with the Nationwide for years. They have just changed supplier and the cost has gone up excessively - well over double what we paid last year.
Thanks. Mike

We have Nationwide Flex as well which at the basic £18 is worthwhile but after decaring some pretty insignificant "pre-existing" conditions they wanted another £180! I get the impression that decaring anything is just a justification to whack up the charges.

You can only tell that by getting a quote from somewhere else and taking into account the cover provided by nationwide on a like by like basis. I.e. worldwide cover for you and your family (not just European) UK and Europe breakdown personal cover for you and partner. (Could cover any amount of vehicles you drive).

Don't forget the Nationwide policy includes breakdown. For us it covers 2 people driving 3 different vehicles - 2 of which are over 10 years old (one 20 years old) including Europe. That can work out quite expensive so as a package I still find Nationwide cover is still competitive.

The medical cover is also worldwide so we will use it this month on a trip around Patagonia. Plus if you also have a savings account with Nationwide you will get a £100 thank you each year.

It all depends what you need.
I have used the red pennant from caravan and motorhome club for the last 4 years we both have medical problems and it includes breakdown cover and I think the last one for 90days was 300

Due to having a condition called CLL which has never needed treatment ( blood test once a year) no company will offer me annual cover.
Age 69.
I have high blood pressure for which I take one tablet.
Best price for my wife and I for an upcoming 90 day trip is £360 with Staysure.
Some quotes were +£1k ☹️
