- Motorhome noobs: Looking for a motorhome/campervan
I read the article and thought it was sad that the council couldn't establish a small aire, find a balance and encourage people to the area with sensible costs, facilities and parking restrictions rather than the fault of people wanting to visit. Next year there will probably be a compliant from local business that less people are visiting the area.
We would stay down at the sea life centre paying the full day parking.
Wold spend on average on a meal drink night in the pub from £80 to £180 more if we spent more than one night seen us spend £300 some weekends.
Scarborough doesn’t want us dirty filthy camper van’s or motorhome’s it all down to them wanting us to go on there sites with dirty toilets and wild kids and beer in their bars that over priced piss water.
And all for upwards of £38 pounds to park
Spent thousands over the years in the shite hole not by choice.
There pubs are the most unwelcoming shite holes on earth they don’t want tourist
Just cash cows to milk dry without a please or thank you
They won’t be getting another penny of my money
