Northern France , very wet plus stupid Frenchman driver in village .

He pulls out of side road a few yards away from us , hard on the brake and half lock to avoid him - new all weather maxxis tyres did not slide an inch - I was doing 30 at the time .

Definately an improvement over our continentals - can really feel the difference

But did he have right of way? Did you ignore the road sign that gave him priority?

How stupid is that rule🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ I think there’s similar in Holland! Another reason not to go to either, just land and get outta there as quick as you can!! God I miss the hull to Zeebrugge ferry😉🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Priorité à droite?

The priority rule is all well and good provided that the driver pulling out gives the m/h time to slow/stop or sees you, even in a big vehicle.
There are drivers in all countries with poor road sense or simply don't see you. I know this from 50 years as a biker dealing with SMIDSY's.
