Just replaced an old Banner lead acid leisure battery with an AGM
Master panel is now showing leisure battery voltage as 14.2 compared to 12ish for old battery - is this ok or do I need to find way to reduce it?

14.2V is high for any lead-acid-based battery, including AGM types. The maximum I would expect is about 12.8V to 12.9V, which is a bit higher than other lead-acid batteries like flooded or Gel types.

Is there anything charging this battery? 14.2V would be expected if you have solar panels charging it. Also if it has just come off a charger, its voltage will be high, maybe 14.6V or more, and may take several hours to settle down to the resting voltage of 12.8V.
