Hi,
Does anyone have a Duvalay made to measure mattress topper on a fixed bed ? They’re crazy expensive so wondering if they’re worth the money ?

Hi Orion, can you post a picture of the triangle clips as I was looking for something like that .ta

Here you go.

4 Pcs Premium Bed Sheet Holder Straps, Adjustable Triangle Elastic Bed Sheet Fastener Suspenders Gripper Clips for Bed Sheets, Mattress Covers, Sofa Cushion. Amazon product ASIN B08RXZYWV7
These fit our rectangular table/tablecloth (one either end) and also hold the sheepskins in place on the front seats but check the extended sizes are what you want - others are available on that site and elsewhere.

I'm going to buck the trend and say I don't think my compact Duvalay was was anything special. Pretty good, but not convinced it was worth the premium. Unfortunately I had to bin it after a trip on London Underground resulted in picking up bed bugs :=0
Have a cheap as chips camping mat for now; wool looks interesting (I'm a merino clothing fan), just need to be somewhere I can pick up a delivery.

I got a 50mm topper from these people, used it on my motorhome and now my caravan, it's really comfortable and was easy to cut to fit the island bed

Along a similar line we made our own duvalay equivalents. We bought a double (king-size?) topper cut it in half, and sewed up a double (king-size?) quilt cover so that it had a pocket for the topper and a pocket that turned out to be just the right size for a single quilt. Works really well.

I got one to go on my old profile mattress but didn’t find it good enough - even tried it on another mattress but was not as impressed as I had been at the beginning - personally I’m going to get memory foam topper.

Got a good quality thick mattress topper , standard double, from JYSK, the Danish equivalent to IKEA. Very reasonably priced, very comfortable and we top with our normal Egyptian cotton sheets and the appropriately togged duvet fro the time of year...we have a 3.5 for summer en route to the med, and a 7.5 for late autumn in Greece and on the way home. Up in the Alps we put both of them on and it is toasty.. our bed is pretty much standard shaped, a tiny bit narrower at the foot, so no need for specialist bedding, but decent quality stuff is a must, why scrimp and make do when you spend so much time in your van....it's not camping.....

The Auto Sleeper we have now has cushions that suit us, I never liked laying on a multi cushion bed before , we put on a fitted sheet and then another and we don't feel the joins thank goodness, as before we have nearly always had a fixed bed

Well we asked 2 days running at October NEC show, can you demonstrate and remove the mattress , all they done was pulled the zip about a foot, and would not remove mattress, my wife said we want to know because we want to wash covers and their answers were lots of people don't wash the covers.
What ? I can't believe that can you.
We knew they were quite difficult to remove covers.

Easy enough using a dining table.

But move the plates first!

Thanks for info , but when on holiday for a week or more I wouldn't have room for a dining table in our Motorhome!!😂

We have one for sale £90. Fits an Adria Matrix island bed. Only used about half dozen times always with a cover on. I’ve been meaning to put it in the classifieds.
Hi just seen this. Do you still have the mattress topper please?

Mrs Bags suggested putting a summer weight quilt as a topper and tucked it in - worked a treat , made a difference , cost bugger all
