You can go along the tow path to high peak rail there’s a work shop tearooms if you are lucky water voles on bank holiday’s a short walk on a steam pumping station .Don’t know but the towpath went though Ambergate and on to Ripley If you want a good walk go up the high peak trail to the black rocks it go’s on to the high peak’s

Can you get to Black Rocks from the tow path on foot? I have been to Black Rocks loads of times, once got caught in thunder and lightning up there with no-where to shelter!!

yes but it’s quite a climb good views over the valley but no cover if it rains

Yes, I found a circular walk online tonight from the tow path. It is a good climb up there but lovely views whichever way you go.
