Just got home from a lovely week with the funsters firstly at ilfracombe and then at the western motorhome show and enjoyed it all met some lovely people and would like to say a big thank you to the rally marshals at both events for all the hard work you put in

Just like to add my thanks to Jim and Sian and all the volunteers. Malvern was my first trip away with the funsters and I have never had such a good time at the event. The band were great and I stayed until the end on Saturday night, something I've not done before at any show. Keep up the good work, I don't know where you get your energy from Sian, partying, manning the show stand, and bacon butty duty as well!!!
Thanks again, see you all at the next show.

What a lovely weekend, our first show..

Highs...not in order...

Geraldine singing and playing the uke (amazing what you can learn in an hour at a fun rally!) brilliant

Meeting some lovely people, Jane, Simon, Steve, Dee, Ger, Cliff, David, Terry Joy and too many more to mention, but you know who you are.

Sian singing to Jim

Turning up to the Funster tent on Friday night at least 3 bottles of wine behind everyone else! Having to work hard to catch up!

The warm welcome from RVOC, thank you Marshall's

A full size plastic horse

The Funster band and all the wonderful musical talent around

Singing about a girl called Alice (felt really naughty!)

The look on martins face when he realised Malvern was a bit bigger than a Funster rally and with endless shopping opportunities for me

All the cowboys, cow ladies and Indians.

Getting my hands on Mr D's thermal cooker, a windbreak and other really useful motorhome related products I've not managed so far to live without. Suction cups anyone?

Lows...

2 days of Martin saying "we don't need that, our life is complete, step away from that crap"

Dropping martins nexus 5 phone down the public Elsan toilet whilst slightly tiddly (yeah rice does dry it out but not if you've only got uncle bens red chilli flavoured)

Gin coming out of my nose by laughing so much

Thanks to you all, I'm gradually getting into this motorhome lark

Safe travels fellow Funsters

My list:

Thanks Jim for fixing it for me (y)

Well done Geraldine for your amazing performance of 'Twice Daily' - you really are a 'performer' with a fabulous voice and great comedic timing :)

Sian - I think the turned table was fantastic and I'm sure Jim will get used to being the stooge  Go girl!

Thank you to everyone who put money in the Cancer Research charity bucket - you folk are so generous! I'll post the total as soon as I get chance to count it.

Thank you to Brisey & the team of hardworking marshalls for putting us in our place so delightfully, to the bacon butty cooks and to Gail for the Pimp's Party (I think that's what it was called ;) )

All-in-all, a brilliant weekend!

Thanks to Sian , Jim and the marshals for all their hard work. We had fun, planned on buying a windbreak but somehow ended up with a new IH van ordered,, thank goodness I don't drink or heaven knows what we would have ended up with! Look forward to the next one.

We are still here after a smashing night't entertainment in the main hall last night, however, not a patch on our own Funster home made music maestros. ;)

Thanks to "everyone" (too numerous to mention), for helping to make it a cracking weekend, which included some smashing weather. (y)

We are off to Hereford to visit friends, then meeting up with Funsters again, for next weekend's Upton Music Festival. If we don't see you there, we'll see you all at Lincoln.

Cheers for now,

Jock & Rita. :)

Nice to meet our funster friends new and old and thanks to Jim Sian Pam and Brisey and Dave and Polly and the funster band. We had to leave a bit earlier than planned but my liver is pleased I did!!!(y)(y)(y)

Many thanks to all involved in organising a brilliant rally. It's amazing how quickly everyone fits in and generates a homely feeling. And the talent on show on the Saturday night was amazing.
There's a lot of names to put to faces and thanks especially to Carol & Eddie for making so many links.
Bryn & Hilary & Beth the dog.

Thank you to all the Funsters that made the Malvern Rally so enjoyable(y) The musicians were especially good as were the bacon butties! So much to see & do. Considering the number of people there we thought Warners staff also did an excellent job & it was a great location.

Thanks to all for a great weekend. Jim & Sian and all the marshalls, plus the bacon butty army!

Had great fun and a good laugh with friends old and new.

Just got back. What can we say? We also had the BEST weekend. Thanks to Pam, Brisey and the team for doing such a brilliant job looking after us all, and not forgetting Jim, Sian and girls for making us so welcome as usual.

As said above, too many people to mention here but you all made it a wonderful weekend. Bacon butties were just what the doctor ordered on a hungover Sunday, Gail's Pimm(p)s afternoon was just right for livening up a rather jaded pop star (?!) and Polly's bread pudding was as usual truly delicious.

The best weekend I have had without spending any money on goods - a windbreak, and a collapsible bucket was all that came back in our van, but I am keeping an eye on Ebay for all those Mr D's which may appear before too long!

Dave (Toledo) I hope my crappy CD didn't damage your magic music box, maybe I can make another one for Lincoln!

The ever increasing band were brilliant as usual. Can't wait for the next Gig at Lincoln - I think I could quite easily become a groupie!

It takes longer and longer to say goodbye to everyone as we go to more meets, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Sorry to miss Carol and Eddie and Sian and Jim, hope you had good trips home.

Last but certainly not least, Janine and Barrie - just the BEST couple - thanks for letting me give it a go - I will keep practicing and will be stalking your Website for many months to come!

I have two things in common with Gareth Gates, I think the first is obvious, and the second is that we went on the same therapy course (obviously not very successful for me!), but if I was the 'Gareth Gates' of the weekend - you lot certainly had the 'X Factor' for me! xx
