There's nothing wrong with a game of Golf. I particularly like the bit where you have to get the ball through the windmill and out the other side. I also like the bit where you have to jump the ball over the ramp zig zag a little before getting it to drop in the hole.



This one in the picture is one of y favourite courses, although they are right miserable and wouldn't let me rent a buggy. :Angry:

Don't worry Jackie, I remember my first Fun meet, never knew what an alcoholic drink was. Spent all my time discussing Weights, A frames and aires in france... then just like that,, I was in the Betty ford clinic quicker than a miserable fun post from Shiftz appearing. :Cool:

after reading some of the threads over last couple of weeks,i have to admit im not looking forward to this meet:Sad:
we run a genny during the day:Sad:apparently a no no
we will have two children under 12 with us:Sad:apparently kids should be seen and not heard.
we will be unable to bring our 2 dogs with us,just in-case they upset another camper by eating their food to loudly:Sad:
myself and my wife are both smokers.a biiiiiiiiiiig no no to non smokers,but bbq smoke is ok,so if anyone wants to smoke in peace and have a cuppa you are welcome at my door,providing the kids are out playing:thumb:
before anyone jumps on this we do NOT smoke in the motorhome or in close proximity to the grand children.

but apparently getting pissed and keeping people awake into the small hours is fun and a badge of honour? go figure oh:
and if you don't get pissed you are labelled miserable
as i said,im not looking forward at all.but fran and the kids are

not sure if u have met the right funsters we dont smoke we will have no kids with us or our dog i do not see ppl whop dont as miserable and certainly kids having fun wouldnt bother us the only reason the dog aint coming is cause he aint allowed in the bars unlike abroad and if anyone gets the hump over dogs sod em you are welcome to pitch near us you wont wake us in the morning trust me we will be dead to the world go to the meet have fun and sod the miserables

Tickets

I have paid for pitch and entertainment tickets for this event but due to the fact that I now have a broken leg (motorcycle versus caravan) I am now unable to attend.
Tickets are for pitch and two for entertainment.
The pitch/entrance ticket has my registration number on but I would think that there would be minor problems.
If anybody can make use of these please let me know and I will post asap.

Advice from those who've been before. Do we need our bikes at Malvern or are there any good (flat) cycle rides? If not we'll leave them behind and save on weight.

We would like to know too...........

From memory there are a lot of hills and a good bus service into the town .... which also has a lot of hills. However, the showground is so large that a bike would be beneficial to ride round on if going to visit anyone in Disabled area, RVOC, General area etc.

Also, despite there being quite a few uphills, I noticed on the way back to the site these had disappeared and there were lots of downhills in their place.

I have NO grandkids to bring , NO animals, i don't smoke and I don't have a genny either, so will only be able to annoy people by playing a guitar and singing loudly.
I suppose i could also empty my grey water on the grass - that should annoy plenty!
