Do you request this on arrival we've left it late but may be attending would be good to be near are bacon butties available also

Hi answer to your question I'm not sure . I think they will still let you park with us cannot see it a problem as it's not warners . The showground staff are a great bunch . No bacon butties at this rally sorry :(

Could you add us to your list,will have to pay on gate as prebooking has already closed,will be arriving on Thursday morrning.Thanks,gwyntaxi&Margaret
 
Hi Kate,
Me again I have just rang the office re; camping with motorhome funin their area,and was advised by them that I would not be able to camp with you as prebooking is already closed:(:(,so I asked if I could check with m/h fun marshals when I arrive and they said, no you will have to check with staff on gate on arrival and they should be able to tell you if there's any room with m/h fun:eek::eek:, isn this correct or can i just ask to go to m/h fun club area,as knowing my luck I always seem to get the jobsworth who'll say definitely not.what do you advise?.thanks,gwyntaxi.:unsure::unsure:
 
They are correct the pré booking is closed this show is not run by Warners and we won't have our own Fun Marshalls . This show is run by the showground staff they are lovely people and park us up . it is worth asking at the gate if you could go with motorhomefun rally but it is upto them and also if there is room . last year we were right by the gate were the vans came in . If you cannot join us in parking you can walk over to us or meet up on the room at night for the entertainment x Kate

Ok Funster as you know there are no Funster Marshalls to greet you at this Rally as the showground run this Show and they site you on the day .
We are in a Rally section so we shall be together. It worked well last year as we were given a field to ourselves right by the gate entrance. We maybe late as Amanda has her pre op at Shrewsbury Hospital Thursday morning.

We are hoping there will be room to put the event shelter up near @Steve and our selves so we can get the log burner going if weather is chilly through the day for somewhere to meet up for tea and coffee and the odd cheese toasty ;) times will be arranges once we are on site .

Entertainment is Friday and Saturday night so most of us will be going to this .

Thursday and Friday Bring plenty bread butter and cheese for those toasted cheeses, or sausages etc if you want to join in the cadacs and fire will be there .

Saturday teatime around 4pm Sophie's 10th (Sandra and Daves grandaughter ) & Bills 62yrs Birthday bash . Some food will be provided but would appreciate if everyone could bring a little something so its like a jacobs table . We thought 4pm would be best as it then gives time for those going into Malvern to get back and for those who have paid for entertainment would have a rest before that started . Or for those who just want to roll from one party to another like us ;)
Sorry there wont be doing bacon butties on the Sunday morning as i just cannot get anymore food in my fridge lol .
However we can still meet for a tea or coffee on the Sunday morning , and finish of the left overs from the Satrday night lol .

Hello Kate, i hope to be getting to Malvern early pm thursday if this is before you i will try to get us on a pitch that will be good for the shelter and fire.

Kate, as I'm a complete noon at this rallying thing, can you give me a clue as to what sort of things you would like me to bring to this Jacobs Table.
I know its a mish mash of everyone brings a little something
( like bring a bottle party in my student youth...bring a bottle of cheap plonk & then drink everyone else's beer :D)
but you must have an idea of how you imagine this festive table would look like?

Also - I'm fairly free if you'd like me to get "stuff" & bring it along - especially if you're busy with hospital appointments etc.
PM if there's a shopping list ;).

Thanks Steve for the offer of shopping for me i appreciate that . Hopefully i will all be doing it tomorrow but a big thankyou.
As for what too bring to the jacobs table bring a little of somthing you like that way if there isnt anything at least you will have somthing to eat ;) lol others bring a mixture of different sandwiches pork pies sausage rolls quiche that sort of thing . I will be making a beef chilli con carne with rice and a chinese chicken curry and a vegie curry . Sandra is making sanwiches and trifles and Jayne Sophies mom is doing hotdogs hope this gives you some ideas x Kate ps there wil allso be Birthday cakes ;)

Good champagne, smoked salmon, perhaps a roasted hog, and lots and lots of mega calorie cake.

A peasant might slip in, bring a can of beer.
 
I'm afraid we won't be there on Friday night as kathy has been let down with staff ( yet again) so please keep a space for us we will be there around 4 on sat .a long way to come for 1 night but hey I'm not missing bills party .

Hope they will let you park with us . If not you are welcome to come over anytime and for the party on the Saturday at 4pm and we can always meet up in the entertainment building on the Friday and Saturday night xxx
 
Really excited about coming to our first Malvern rally! No sign of the grandsprog making an appearance but we will be bringing the youngest one (Betsy) with us, so her mum can get some rest. I think she's going to need it!
