I'm thinking of putting one of these in our little bathroom, as I don't want to drill holes in the wall. Does anyone use them and have you found one where the soap doesn't go flying off at the first bump in the road?

I bought a real cheapy, haven't installed it because I put some soap on it and the normal sized bar just fell off. A smaller one stayed put until I waved it around, then it fell off too. Chalk it up to experience.

Thank you.

I bought some Sandalwood soap, which is quite solid even when wet, drilled a hole in it, threaded a ribbon through it and now I have a soap on a rope which is hooked around the basin tap.

I draw the honourable lady's attention to the effect of the Colorado river on sandstone which is harder than soap.

That may well be an alternative solution, thank you.

What happened to lifebuoy. I remember it from my primary school. Pink, about the size and shape of a house brick with a very distinctive smell.

It was the 2 for 3 quid Amazon one that I bought, and doesn't hold the soap. If you have one that does, could you pop a link in the replies.
Sorry, a few years back the wife bought them. We've 4 in total . Ones in the house I use for Lagarto/capricho 🧼 with glycerine and no problems with those at 150g in weight.
