Macerator pump for grey water

We have put it in today, it is fantastic, even if I do say so myself, pumps a full tank out in about a minute, no leaks, nothing , just sit inside and press the switch. (y) (y)
Would recommend one for anyone who doesn't want to grovel about in other people's waste water.:sun::sun:
And just to add we left the old one in so have both now.

Probably not PC, but you've pi$$ed it chaser ! Did you go for a different outlet?

Need one of these now Charlie, my van had an electric dump valve and I fitted a camera.

Yeah left the old one as it was , drilled a new hole and fitted the new one at the other side.

Seriously though it does work well, it just whooshes it out with a touch of a switch.
I must admit I didn't think it would work that well.

How did you support the macerator and pipework?

Bet that roof level outlet is impressive (from your drawing) 🤣.

Well I could photograph it but all the Tecno folks on here will only take the p, it's not pretty but it's solid and it works better than I had ever dared hope.
I will get one today if I can pretty it up a bit. (y)

dont need pretty just functional,(y)(y)(y)

I have had a crawl underneath but not got much in the way of decent photos.
But I tried  You can see though where it comes out and the old tap still there so can use either or both now (y) (y)

It's not bad, the only comment I would make is you should do something about that support for the flexible green waste pipe. In cold weather it will set like that and restrict the flow.

The big cylinder thing is the air tanks for the suspension, so restricts the space spare underneath.
And we also found the outlet didn't have to go higher than the tank as it doesn't empty when the pump isn't working.

A fascinating and highly informative thread, packed with great advice based on engineering skills and motor homing experience, but, after reading them all and balancing the pros and cons of the wisdom they offer, I have decided to carry on just leaving my grey tank tap open as usual...

Part of the reason for leaving the old tap on;)

These simple hacks can solve a lot of problems for loads of people, and relatively inexpensive.😀🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
