Planned M4 Closure

A section of the M4 will be shut for an entire weekend in October, due to works on the A432 Badminton Road Bridge.
It'll close in both directions between J18 & J19.

From 1900 Friday Oct 18

Until 0600 Monday Oct 21

Thanks for the heads up. We’re heading back to Devon from somewhere near Bletchley on the Sunday, so avoiding action seems appropriate! The A303 is likely to be mega busy in the usual places - Amesbury etc. - so I think a leisurely drive over to pick up the M5 near Gloucester might be on the cards.

If anyone tries to take the A432 via Cippibg Sodbury as an alternative route they will be subject to another diversion as it is the A432 bridge over the M4 that is the cause of the closure.
