Still debating whether to chop in the BMC-T 550 for a 4x4 BML-T 580

But Dealers aren’t being particularly generous on deals on new vans or part ex values.
Which in the current economic environment has surprised me no end - I figured they’d be a lot keener to move stock tying up cash on the forecourt.

So a new van is starting to look a bit unlikely now. But Mrs M is at least onboard with the concept of spending £ on the van so if I can’t get the right deal on a new van I’m going to fit an auto levelling system on the 550.

I’ve looked at MAVE and E&P and Amplo and the reviews are mostly good with the odd stinker.

But a few posts on these forums rave about the team at VanBitz which isn’t too far from me. They fit the M-Level system.

Has anyone used this or had it fitted to their van? I would be interested in some real world feedback? There aren’t many reviews online about it…

We had M-Level fitted by Vanbitz on our A class.
I cannot compare the system to any other because this is our first experience of a levelling system.
Been to Greece and back and had no problems.
The team at Vanbitz were excellent and were only a phone call away.
Operating either by auto or manual control works as per tin..........

Cheers🍻

Perfect thank you
How many times you think you’ve used the levelling system? And it’s worked every time?

I looked at M-Level two things put me off.

On their system the hydraulic pipes come ready made up so the install can be rather untidy with excess pipe coiled up under the chassis.

More importantly only UK agents no support in Europe.

We have m level , happy with the system but did have a fitting error. The owner of m level got involved giving us his personal mobile number and sent a engineer up from stoke to yorkshire to sort it out. Now that is customer service . The remote is easy to use

To be fair, you could just cut the pipes to length and press new fittings on.

They are hydraulic so you need the right tools, company I spoke to make the pipes up for other systems but not from the M-Level I didn't bother asking why as I prefer a product with Europe wide support.

That is one thing I miss the van rocking in the wind, I like that. 🤣

We have M-Level fitted to our Merc Sprinter tractor cab with AlKo rear chassis Weinsberg CaraCompact EDITION [PEPPER] 640 MEG MB. Is your Hymer the same configuration?

Fitted by VanBitz. Used the MHFun discount available.

Very neat installation. Nothing to see under there.

We use it every time we are parked up for the night. We have it parked on a 'pitch' in the garden where the levellers are deployed.

Tend to use the remote in the cab when away from home. Walk around the MH after setting timber pads on the home pitch and operate the levellers; it's a belt and braces thing.
