Getting there owner since 2021
I'm just about to take the plunge on a refillable gas bottle but not sure about the compatibility.
Do Gaslow and Gasit use the same filling system? I'm currently looking at a Gaslow direct fill 11kg for £185 as I don't really want to start drilling holes in my mh.

I've also got our filler in the skirt

Time to revisit my setup and looking for some advice.
I don't have access from under the mh to the side of the gas locker unless I start removing wheel arches and don't have any place to fit an external filling point that's not on the skirt anyway, and that's only grp.
What I think I can do is drill through the side of the locker which backs up to my under seat storage and then drill through into the same storage from the side of the mh. This would mean there are gas connections inside which is not ideal.
Any advice would be appreciated.

If contemplating a direct-fill cylinder, look at SafeFill. They are lighter.
I had Gaslow, before, with the filler on a bracket inside the locker. It wasn't a problem for me.
I've now swapped to SafeFill and have filled in situ as well as by removing them to take to be filled in the car.
I think many may not be talking from personal experience when they say that you'll get turned away from the pumps.

I appreciate the reply but have only recently bought an 11kg Gaslow bottle.

Official advice is NOT to have any gas connections, other than those for the gas taps, inside the habitation area. For safety the filler also needs to have a "drop vent" below it in case of leaks. Your suggestion would appear to be unsafe although I can't actually envisage it.

That looks to be potentially quite a dangerous setup TBH. If you're involved in a very low rear impact or even if you just clip something when reversing then the gas line will fracture.

I would reposition it to the side and get the drill out asap.
The fitting has a one-way valve and the tank / cylinder inlet has one too. If the line is severed only gas trapped in the pipe from filler to cylinder would escape.
