LPG (GPL?) in Holland

How easy is it to get Safefill bottles refilled? LPG availability doesn't seem quite as universal as other countries.

No idea about Safefill but Gaslow no problem most Shell garages had LPG pumps

Plenty of pumps in Holland never had a problem. They use the Dutch Bayonet adaptor (same as UK).

LPG powered vehicles in Holland are very common.
Loads of places to buy LPG
(Which may not be the same as finding places that will permit filling a safefill bottle)

We've been all over Holland and never had a problem. Been spoilt for choice in many places but we don't have safefill. There are a lot of card only stations where you might be able to fill up. (Mastercard not Visa)

I have previously managed to fill my gaslow system without needing any adapter but they seemed to have changed the filler nozzle arrangement. In the UK once you secure the bayonet connection you pull the lever back towards you to lock it in position. With the newer nozzles in the Netherlands once you secure the bayonet you push the lever forwards and for my van the lever fouls on the filler or bodywork before it’s fully latched so won’t lock on.
