Looking to buy…. Help

We have looked at quite a few Motorhomes’s now I myself would love a fixed bed but they all seem so long. Any recommendations on vans with fixed beds I’m almost fed up of looking . Thanks

There are quite a few 5.9-6m motorhomes with a fixed bed. Some have transverse beds, french bed or electric drop down beds. For a shorter van to have a fixed bed, you do have to make compromises. A drop down bed is a bit different and cuts down on the compromises. I have a Benimar Mileo 201. That has the sideways bed at the back. Tiny bathroom but that's what you get with a sub 6m motorhome.

Might be worth renting one or two to try them out, it really helps you decide what is most important and what you can live with.

They are expensive to rent, but cheaper than buying the wrong van and having to trade in for another one.

Perhaps, the length of the motorhome, not the bed.

You will learn so much, whilst you enjoy your travels.

Welcome. An idea of your budget would help in identifying your requirements.
What is your preferred type of bed.
Transverse ( across the van), helps on making the van shorter.
Some beds are made up from the lounge area or due you want a fixed bed ?

LOL! I know! I asked because a lot of people get hung up about motorhome length unnecessarily I think.

Too late for us, but we would have a 6.5 ish
