Look what has appeared on top of my windscreen or in it. It's six inch long. What is it and what should I do? I've had the motorhome from new to 11 years old.

Price of Hymer window in France 1958.24 euros. Just been quoted one as part of collision with sheep in Morocco. Hymer =1, sheep =0. Hopefully won't need it if existing window is removed without breaking.

I suspect that one or both of the two sharp points on the right are actually stone chips. Looks closely and use fingernail to confirm. I think this could be "repaired" by a stone chip company. Won't be perfect but a hell of a lot cheaper than a replacement if you have to do it yourself. As it is not in the visible part of the windscreen I suspect they could do a pretty decent job of it.

Or as someone else stated. Get a proper window company to do a report and claim on the insurance.

Looks like delamination if you can't touch it from inside or outside, in other words it's got in-between two layers of glass, if it has I can't see you can do anything about , best to check with Screen Company.
