Little runabout with no tax?

My daughter lives in spain , but needs a little runabout to take her grandkids out and about 2yrsand3yrs , she had a suxuki gran vitara but the tax and petrol and insurance werent that economical , has anybody any idea what make of car(second hand and cheap) is low tax and insurance but safe , i thought suxuki would have been but tax dearer than our transitthankyou pampam

I was quoted a dealer trade in price the other day of £32,000 we only paid £36,300 ten years ago

Had the same, it is what prompted us to change, 10 yrs, 98,000km and a €2000 drop in the price we paid new , just had to add the same amount we paid for the first one again for the new one .

That would have been the same for us! Probably the same with cars too. Given interest rates overall the past 10 years it makes you realise what's happened to the spending power of your savings

Hello and thankyou sorry its taken a couple of days to reply havent had internet .i think ive misled you as faughter needs runabout car for uk she has one in spain(they do it different there: but its over here where a runabout safe car is needed for grandkids :

I run a Citroen c1 2016,same as Peugeot 108 and Toyota aygo, free road tax cheap to insure,cheap to fix, good safety rating,small boot but front. p assengers have plenty of room,rear ideal for children
