I am trying to replace the 240v heating element on our dometic fridge. Fridge is out and workings exposed but not doing well in my battle with the plastic clips on the picture. Can someone tell me how these release? There must be a little lever to push or squeeze. I have pushed and prodded and felt all around. As you can see, I tried brute force and broke the right hand connector cover. It's the little things in life.....

I was afraid someone would say that. A bit more brute force!!. Really awkward spot for prising!

Did you manage this in the end, I'm having the same issue, any help appreciated? Thanks.

If you can't get the connection apart, could you leave it intact, but join the wires together away from the connection?

I'm replacing the Dometic Brick so ideally need the connectors intact to go onto the new Brick.
