About to put our Motorhome into inside winter storage until March 24
will the Fogstar drift leisure battery be ok if I just disconnect it
or will the prolonged cold over the winter months do it any harm

I'm afraid I don't have an answer but another question, since in the app you can turn off discharge, is this as good as physically disconnecting it?

Should be fine if you charge it to between 50 to 80%.
But no way would I leave a van unused for that length of time, if we are not using ours always take it for a drive every few weeks making sure the engine gets up to full operating temperature.
Charge is at 99% at the moment
we have to much on to use it between now and the end of the year
and then we’re of to Spain for the winter in an apartment until end of March
so inside storage seemed the best solution given how harsh the Scottish weather can be

Why would you put a MH in to storage for 6 months of the year. Are you still paying insurance and VED. Why not use it, far better than being stood for that length of time. Plenty of sites open all year round.

It’s 5 months it will be laid up for
we have to much on between now and Christmas , getting a lot of work done to the house including being reroofed so I need the space where its parked
also wife’s not to well with mobility issues so if we went away we’d be stuck on site as she can’t walk far .
Next year we are taking the car to Spain and staying in an apartment plus we’ll have the car to get about
If we took the motorhome we’d be stuck on site or an aire because she cannot use the electric bike anymore and as previously mentioned needs crutches to get about
so that’s why the vans getting parked up

Just collected our motorhome from inside storage after 5 and half months inside
I toggled both discharge and charge to off using the Fogstar App on parking up .
The starter battery has been maintained over the winter with a C-tek charger
Came to it this morning half expecting the Fogstar battery to be flat and on connecting my phone via bluetooth and surprisingly the battery read 99%
Now back home plugged into the mains and now back at 100% - happy days
