Lithium in a Carthago

When looking to replace our Motorhome a few months ago, we went to Travelworld, having bought our last from them. We were genuinely interested and spent several hours including time with a “sales manager”. Rang the next day and left a message on his mobile to discuss further. After a couple of weeks not hearing back, we went elsewhere and placed our six figure sum order. To add insult to injury of bad service, I then get a voicemail left by one of his colleagues, saying he is returning my call (from weeks before) and will ring again. Never heard another thing. They must be finding sales too easy and we must look like tyre kickers. Live and learn.

Send a Picture of the van you ordered to the sales man and if possible copy in his boss. Fully thank them for their help in realising that TW were not the company to deal with due to total neglect on their part. The penny may drop. Again use social media to back up your experience with evidence. It will cause a stink their end and may help improve poor service.

Perhaps this thread should be sent to the MD of Travelworld….. He might find it an interesting read.

In fact send it also to the MD’s of the competition selling high end motorhomes..they could use it as negative marketing against Travelworld….
Pretty sure all these crap dealers know how bad they are but all the time money is coming in they are not worried.
They just rely on people rolling over and fixing problems themselves☹️☹️

A few die hard people will get a result if they keep on at them.

Sometimes people say go to a local dealer for the convenience of getting problems fixed. I disagree with this, I say go to a dealer with a good reputation for fixing problems even if it involves travelling half way across the Country. Having a local dealer is no benefit at all if they are ill informed and incompetent.

Pretty sure this is the case. I get the impression they are aware some people think they are poor, but bury their heads in hands, kidding themselves “we can’t be that bad, look at all the orders we’re taking”.
