There was somebody on here that had something like 4x100ah LiFePO4 but was limited to the amps of only one BMS for some reason, from memory they got their money back and fitted larger LiFePO4 and all was OK.

Only in series you will be limited to what single one can deliver. If you have 4 batteries each with 80a bms, then in paralell you will have 320a or 80a in series.

You can't actually guarantee the current will be equally balanced between the 4 batteries in parallel.

True, but you are better than 20p4s cylindricals for a 100ah. The bms sees the 20s as a single cell. The imbalance is minute and doesn’t matter.

I get that in theory but not sure the real world always back it up? To be fair though I think I have only read of one person experiencing the problem.

Thanks every one for your valued comments, have now taken the plunge and ordered the following kit
Roamer 12v 230ah battery.
Victron Orion TR smart 12/12/30 DC-DC Charger
Victron 30a 12V blue smart mains charger
Victron 500amp energy smart shunt.

Going to leave the invertor at the moment as have managed this length of time without one😂 Probably use 70mm2 cable to the busbars at the moment so if we change our mind at least the cables are installed for it.

Thanks again everyone for your help and knowledge this is just fantastic forum...

Have you looked at the victron lynx power in for your busbars great bit of kit keeps the build nice and tidy expensive but when you add up the individual buying of separate busbars not so much. I have ordered one for my multiplus install will 300ah lithium.

We have 700 watts of solar panels and 2 x100 Transporter batteries feeding a Victron 2 kw multi. So the cables will handle it with ease
