Lithium battery charging time

We have700 watts of solar 2 x 100 amp Transporter batteries, 2019Fat 160 amp alternator. No B2B fitted as installer said not required, can put up to 70 amps per hour into batteries, Victron 12/2000/80 inverter charger can run the hab air con (freshjet 2200) at a sensible setting for long periods subject to sunshine no problem. The whole system is warranted for 5 years and the batteries for 10. The only advice from the insmaller was not to run the engine on tick over to charge the batteries for more than 15 mins, not a practise we do or have had need to do so

If you are not confident to fit your own system then I would be purchasing my own Fogstar battery or batteries and asking an installer to fit them. You would save your an awful lot of money.
I'm happy to change batteries, but with a lot of other work going on at the same time, I want a profession finish with the placing and routing of cables.

I ask an installer and see what they say.

Better do it yourself them, the only way to guarantee a good job. :giggle:
If I had done a few before I would do it, but it's a new van and my first so I don't want to use it to learn on, I don't trust myself that much :)
