Pammy I am really sorry but I am going to have to cry off this one ...... I have double booked and didn't realise till another funster pointed it out to me.

I sincerely apologise for messing anyone around. Joy

Every time I see this I get this picture in my mind of Geo going round each van, sprinkling it with distilled water and giving it his blessing.

Do you think I need to seek medical advice ?

What time are people planning to arrive at the site

Somehow I'd got it into my head that we shouldn't arrive before 1pm but can't see anything about time on Pammy's post in the Calendar.

For that reason we were thinking of having lunch and getting there some time between 1pm and 2pm - but open to change our minds if people are arriving earlier.

Graham

I have trawled through all of the posts & there is nothing to indicate a time & nothing on the Sites website - although it is usually 12.00 on a lot of sites.

arrival time

We will arrive about 4-00pm might be sooner if taffic's ok

Herb and Sheila (ps someone order the weather )lol

How would you like the weather - Sunny or Wet ? :Eeek:

Hi all

Sorry not been on for a while - we've just got back from 3 weeks hols. The first week back at work was horrendous and quite honestly I was too knackered to care when I got home :Rofl1::Rofl1:

Anyway, there are no hard and fast rules to arriving and departing - we leave that entirely up to you. However we shall be leaving home around 10am (ish) so should arrive at the Loch about noon. Would be happier for anyone to arrive after that as it would give us time to talk with the site owner where everyone can go. When we were there last year he was talking about making extra camping space for meets and I guess he must have done that by allowing up to 17 vans to book. Having said that there have been a couple of vans dropped out making 15 vans now scheduled to arrive.

According to metcheck the weather forecast don't look too bad - the only rain forecast is set to tap on our vans between 1am and 4am on Sunday morning - we can live with that no problem.:thumb:

Light refreshments will be available when you arrive all you have to do is bring your mugs (or cups if you're posh).

It would also be silly of me to think that we weren't going to all meet up in the pub in the evening.

Saturday - it would be nice to have a get together for 'elevenses' courtesy of your hosts. I think that some of us (if not all of us) will take in a meal in the pub in the evening and I will get together with the owner to fix up the arrangements. There is a varied menu from what I remember with good sized portions. The towel goes on about 12:30 am so the evening should be great.

Sunday - I'm hoping to arrange for the owner to take you on a tour of the watermill and the loch. Some of us went on it last year - ladies you will need trousers as you will be wading through some quite long grass.

The pub does extremely good Sunday lunches so you may well want to take in a lunch before you head off home - again no set time to depart which I think you may be glad about - it's a great location and don't forget you can actually do some fishing - not sure whether there will be any Salmon or not. We may be too late.

Ok I think that's it for now. I'll be on here for the next hour. I will pm you with my mobile number just in case you need it.

See you Friday - take care

Pammy

Hi Pammy,
Got workmen arriving friday do not know what time they will finish, but will definitely arrive on site before 7pm

Just had a thought - for those that have not registered with this sight, it may mean you cannot receive pm's so unfortunately you will not have got my mobile number. Sorry but I won't put this on open forum. I suggest you ensure you have the site's telephone number just in case you need to get a message to us.

Regards

No way in a wheelchair to the Watermill. Rest of the site is fine. And the good news, here is the gutted watermill.
